The International Journal of Anthropology, HumaniverCity and GreenCybernomics (IJAHG) originated from the development of the Gregor Anthropological Group (GAG), whose initial formation began on 4 September 2020 in Kupang, Indonesia. GAG was initiated by Dr. Gregor Neonbasu, SVD, PhD, together with Fr. David Amfotis, SVD, and Dr. Fritz Meko, SVD. During its early development, Prof. Dr. Gabriel Faimau proposed the establishment of an academic journal as a platform for research, scholarly discussion, and publication. Following the formal establishment of GAG on 30 December 2020 as a research and holistic civilization studies center under Yayasan Go Green Go Clean Indonesia, IJAHG was developed as one of its principal academic publication programs.
